I liked this story. It was simple in terms of plot, but there was depth due to the feelings between the characters. While we only get to see Dale's point of view, Grant's pain at having been treated like sh*t was clear and very poignant. As was Grant's sudden realization of what he'd done and the way he went about fixing it. If you like reading about lovers making up after a fight (or years of treatment close to emotional abuse), you will like this story.

I totally hated Dale at first, but as the book went on, my opinions changed. I hurted for Grant, but applauded his sunny disposition through it all. It was funny how all the things were in placew and so caught up within himself, Dale missed everything. I laughed when he did at the end, because, hey, I've been in the same situation with my hubby!!!!The moral of this story for me appreciate everyday as well as that special somone.

Dale seems to be pretty shallow and self absorbed when suddenly he seems to get a clue. Still a bit slow on the uptake it seems that maybe there is a chance he'll do better and be a better man for Grant.

If I could give this book zero stars I would Dale was th most disgusting human on the planet and nothing he did or could do would make up for how he treated his partner Dale yelled, walked all over, cheated, and tried to upset grant every chance he got just because he could
