Really not very good. I loved the imagery of the Mesh in the first half of the book, but the second half drags on aimlessly and the ending is not very strong. The book doesn't know what it's trying to say.

I thought I'd give this one a chance since I enjoyed Speaking Dreams, but I really couldn't find the motivation of the characters actions. No love for the characters either so their fates didn't mean much to me. If there was a deeper philosophical meaning, I missed it.

This is an odd book. It feels like you've joined the story half-way through and it took me a bit to get into it at all. Still, its interesting and well written. Certainly worth a read.
