Imagine finding out you are destined to be a gypsy queen in a world you never knew existed and you would lose all contact with the world you knew You also only have a few days to make up your mind to accept Jasmine, the main character seemed cut out for the roll in spite of everything being stacked against her This was a great fantasy read, not too long and just farfetched enough to lose yourself in the story.

It has been a long time since I ve read a fantasy book and I truly forgot how enjoyable a well written fantasy can be The details the author used to describe the world Jasmine was introduced to were amazing and so vivid I wanted to become queen of Tamporlea Yes there are certain aspects of Tamporlea that aren t perfect, but I have to take a guess that some of the things I noticed are meant to be I am, in fact, reading part 1 of a trilogy and I haven t gotten the whole picture Otherwise it s just [...]

Okay I am not really understanding this book She had a close relationship with her mother, real close She was even going to go to a local college, just so she could stay with her mother Now she deciding to become queen without a backwards glance Tarporlea doesn t even sound that great Classes, arranged marriages, tight population control, unable to raise the heir And these just a few of the rules I think it sounds awful I also think I ve seen some inconsistencies Pretty sure it said earlier that [...]

The biggest fault of this book is not the clunky pacing, the unnatural dialogue and odd thought processes of the characters, the unsatisfying cliffhanger ending, or the inability for the author to put her main character in any kind of real danger Other people and animals die, but the protagonist is never in any danger until the very end, and even then, she is still not in any direct line of fire It s that nothing, and I do mean NOTHING of import happens in this book onstage Every action, every d [...]

Jasmine and her mom are on a seemingly normal camping trip in the Adirondacks when things quickly change after a man named Orion comes to take Jasmine away to a place called Tamporlea This land is beautiful with an abundance of crops and flowers and a massive waterfall that supplies the mountain of Tamporlea Shortly after arriving to Tamporlea, Orion explains that it is Jasmine s destiny to become the Queen of their kingdom if she chooses It s when she meets the King of Jarnay and the Queen of P [...]

This was a good story but I feel like it shouldn t have been a final draft it was like there were parts missing and some of the information provided was irrelevant filler It was choppy in parts and dialog was forces in others That being said i did like the premise and because of the cliffhanger ending I might consider reading the next one.

This book was a little far fetched A girl is chosen to be queen of a gypsy kingdom when she is 17 It comes with a love interest and a few twists and turns It ends with the kingdom at war and is a cliff hanger I am going to have to read the others.

Very good story, but I had major issues with the writing It seemed forced and the sentences were clipped More to come
