"Breakfast in Paris" by Graeme Cameroon.I downloaded the Kindle version free through Smashwords. This was such a Short short story.I no sooner starter the book, and it was over.I was gripped by the description, and was not expecting the story to down this path. In the beginning it felt like a nervous meeting between two people who didn't know each other very well but had agreed to meet. It sure caught me off guard.I was expecting a love story between two ships in the night. I won't give the endin [...]

Rarely does such a short collection of words leave this strong of an impression. Tone-perfect for dosing the reader with the anxiety of a long-anticipated meeting. And then the twist. Wonderful!I won't say much here, because there's no need for spoilers when the read is so quick -- and free. As an appetizer to Mr. Cameron's work, well, I can't wait for the next course. Bravo!

I read this book after reading the novel 'Normal' by the same author. I got a free download off Smashwords and although it it well written it is so short it fails to fulfil the reader and only leaves unanswered questions. Maybe the author is to continue this in the future.

This was a free download from bn for my nook. IT was such an extremely short story that left a ton of opeon ends. I hope it really is going to be continued so I can figure out why it ends as it does.

I have recently started reading short stories, and this is the shortest so far! It being short wasn't an issue; it was well-written, entertaining and certainly left me wanting more from this author.
