This is a collection of 6 books each by a different author and each the first in a series. They all have the common theme of being set in a post-apocolyptic/post-epidemic/post-catastrophy of some sort world. Kahayatle (Apocalypsis #1) by Elle Casey This is probably my favorite in this collection. I've enjoyed everything I've read by this author. Elle Casey has done it again. She's created a world and group of characters that sink their claws into you, pull you in, and keep you reading. and AHHH [...]

A Nice Intro Package of YA Dystopian Series(Full disclosure: I received a free electronic copy of this book for review through Library Thing’s Early Reviewer Program.)The Shattered Worlds box set features six young adult dystopian novels, each of them the first in a series: The Blemished (Blemish #1) by Sarah Dalton (2012) - "In a world filled with stunning clones Mina Hart is Blemished. Her genes are worthless and that takes away her rights: her right to an Education, her right to a normal li [...]

A mixed bag with the last story more like a western with dystopian catastrophe roots. As these are aimed at the so called YA or teenage market (I should have read the description properly) As a collections they all feature young female (never been kissed) protagonists but if this is supposed to improve feminism then having them all falling for some hunky hero/villain-that-might-be-hero was a bit stereotypical. As with all stories there are flaws in plot lines and if you want a complete stories lo [...]

Didn't really "think" a lot about it. The first two stories are so-sobut they leave you hanging because they want you to buy the books. I don't think I'll read another of these multi-story books because by the time I get into the next story, I've lost interest in the last one and don't feel like putting out the bucks to read the rest. The stories were so-so earth shattering or heart pumpingbut I was only interested in the first two. The other four started off way too slow to get my attention.

This is an anthology of six dystopian novels that was on sale one day on amazon for a dollar or two. Great deal! I thought it would contain short stories, but they actually are full sized books. Most (all?) are the first in a series, so it’s kind of a way to lure you to buy more books. There were two I didn’t like much, two I liked a lot, and two that were ok ish. Not bad. I got to sample a lot all at once. These are all young adult novels, and some are younger than others. If you’re into [...]

I received [Shattered Worlds] as a give away. Since this is my favorite type of genre I knew I had hit the jackpot! All the books were great and I have done individual reviews of them. I have also added the next books onto my "list". I appreciate the opportunity to read these six wonderful books from talented authors.

I really enjoyed this group of books. I can't believe what a good deal these novels are! I especially liked The Breeders, Apocalysis, and Night Of The Purple Moon. You won't regret buying this set!

This was a great selection of books but I found that 1 or 2 were not very interesting and I had to skip them but overall great !!
