To me the book is more than what happened behind the scenes at the Chicago Playboy Club in the 60s. It is about Alyce, whom I know personally, as my highly qualified tax accountant, for several years now (and I had a few before). What a crazy life, what a crazy place! I am so glad she and Tekla turned out so well. I highly recommend the 2 other book that Tekla wrote: "The Warden Wore Pink". Super book about Tekla years as head of high security prisons years and years ago. So determined, resource [...]

Interesting book - true story. I found it starting to get redundant. It was interesting to read about the world of Playboy clubs, and how this single mother worked in a very frustrating world with some pretty incompetent people. I have never had to live pay check to pay check so I applaud the heroin for sticking with the job for as long as she did. She seemed so capable that it is hard to imagine that she could not have found a better job.

I loved this book. true story told by the sister of Bunny Mother in the Playboy Clubs in the 1960s. Bunny Mother is woman in charge of all the bunny's. Book shows how the clubs operated and how women were treated. Sure glad these clubs shut down. Hugh Hefner is not the nice old man as we are to believe now. Made money by using women in these clubs. This author does great job of telling story
