Sweet book but not very interesting. I am not sure I want to read any more books by this author. The best part of this book is each chapter alternates between the different characters perspectives of the story. Book just needs more depth for me.

I was excited to read this book, since I have read all of the previous books by this author. I finished the book in one sitting because it was too good to put down. I had to keep reading to find out if the young couple's story had a happy ending or not.Newlyweds Hannah and Jakob were expecting their first baby when things started to go wrong. Hannah was stressed out by working at the bakery with Mrs. Stoltzfus, a very cranky lady. Hannah really wanted to quit her job and work at her best friend [...]

I finished this fun story in one sitting as I was enjoying it so much. I loved it so much I promptly bought more Kindle books by this author.

As soon as I saw the author publish this new book, I knew I had to grab it. I have been enjoying all of her Amish novels that she has published so far. I have read a few other Amish novels from other authors, but I decided long ago to stick with this Author. If you have read any of her novels before, then you will definitely enjoy this one because this one builds on top of those. However, if you have not read any of her books you, will still be able to quickly understand the story. I very much lo [...]

Rating: 2.5 stars. Why 3 stars? Because no poor grammar, typos. This book just misses the mark. It's a sweet story, but just a bit TOO sweet. It's WAY too predictable. There is something about the title "Amish Baby" that bothers me a bit. Don't ask me why. It's right up there with something my granddaughter told me last night about WHY you couldn't wear red shoes with a cute Americana sweater that definitely would look great with jeans. No real reason why -- just not right. There you go -- the tit [...]

I have been fascinated with the Amish lifestyle for quite a while now, and I have been looking for books that would delve deeper into the psychology and thinking of the people who choose a very simple (but not easy!) lifestyle in our complicated high-tech world. However, most of the books I’ve been finding read like research studies. And then I discovered Kristina Ludwig. What a find!I loved reading this story about a young couple who have all the trials and tribulations of young couple all ov [...]

So this book was labeled under free mystery books in the Kindle Store? This book wasted an entire HOUR of my time. I kept waiting for a mystery (who is the baby's REAL father!?) but nothing ever happened. It was just a stupid book about a married couple that has a baby (SORRY FOR THE SPOILER ALERT NOT!) I wish my kindle showed me the cover before I read this - I could have guessed how annoying it would be. Sorry, I'm not usually this vitriolic with my reviews, but honestly I'm angry. Angry at my [...]

Kristina Ludwig excellentAmish Baby.Hannah and Jakob are looking forward to the birth of their 1st child, but it is not an easy pregnancy.Hannah works in the local bakery but does not get on very well with the owner, Jakob works in the local repair shop mending buggys among other things. When Hannah has a bit of an accident the worry for the child is most forward. This is the 1st in a series of books and if the others are as good as this one we are in for a treat.4 stars. 24 December 2014.

Amish BabyThis is my first Kristina Ludwig book. I thoroughly loved it. I have been reading Amish and/or Christian romance books lately and this book is right up there with those I've been reading from different authors. I feel like I must recommend her books to all who want simple, clean, and interesting reads. She's that good.

I completely loved Amish Baby! I particularly liked how the chapters alternated the voices of the leading characters. One chapter was from Hannah's point of view, and the next was from Jacob's. It was fascinating to hear the inner thoughts of both characters, as the drama unfolds.Amish Baby is my favorite book by Kristina to date. I can't wait for the sequel!

Surprised by the book Was not real sure when I ordered the book how it was going to be. I was surprised by different parts of the book, the near tragedy. The happiness in it. How close the families are

This is a lovely inspirational story about a young couple's dream to have a baby. Hannah is working in a bakery and she wants to quit her job, be careful what you wish for. I loved the way her friend grew during this book and how she dealt with her faith. A quick read but enjoyable.

Hannah and JakobYou follow Hannah and Jakob through the beginning and end of her pregnancy. A fall dominates much of the book, but the end result is a bobble. A perfect Saturday afternoon book which I give 5 stars
