I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.***I'm a sucker for a good team of characters. My favorite books and movies have always contained a full house of personalities, each one with different strengths, different problems, different backgrounds. When an author can deliver a book with a diverse cast of friends that are truly authentic, I can't help but fall in love with it. Which is exactly why Ella Martin's I Love Him, I Love Him Not gets a full five-star rating from me. [...]

Received a review copy/ARC from the publisher in exchange of an honest review.Wow, just Wow, just amazing. I can honestly say that Ella Martin did it again, she wrote another story filled with so much things, but all of them connect, all of them just fit and all of them are just so real that you can't stop reading the book. You just want to know how things end, you want to know about Jake, you want to know if Talia sees the light about stuff. This book is about Talia, one of Bianca's (our main c [...]

Content warnings: mentions of physical abuse, mentions of alcohol useI received an ARC for a fair and unbiased review.Oh. My. Gosh. It's been a while since I've read a book in one sitting. And not want to put the book down for breaks (because sometimes I need those when reading on computers/electronic devices). So, this is a modern day adaptation of Sleeping Beauty. And we all know by now, I'm a sucker for modern day adaptations of stuff (shakespeare, older non western religions, fairy tales, etc) [...]

I already LOVED the first book in the series, WILL THE REAL PRINCE CHARMING PLEASE STAND UP?, but I might love this one even more. It's the kind of story I would've inhaled as a teenager as Talia and Jake's friendship/feelings for each other would have struck a chord with 15/16-year-old me. There are so many "loud" stories out there these days, full of action and magic, but it's often the quiet stories that stay with me, that I can relate to. I cannot wait for the third book in the series.

So many of us read a book where the heroine falls in love with the hero, and sometimes it’s just too fast. Love at first sight, and all that. But not here. Martin sets up the wonderful story of ‘girl likes best friend’ (and OH how I love a best friend romance!) but *gasp!* best friend now has a girlfriend!!!Now that’s drama. And something that will keep me turning the pages.First, let’s talk characters. You’ve got Talia, our MC. And just by looking at the cover, you get a sense of who [...]

Talia Nicoletti’s life has been turned upside down–and that’s probably an understatement. Her mother goes off on a business trip… and comes back married! Her estranged father wants to be less estranged. And her best friend Jake DeSantos suddenly has a new confidante and that hurts her more than she thought possible, especially since she can’t decide if she loves him or if she loves him not This is the second book in the Westgate Prep Series. I read WILL THE REAL PRINCE CHARMING PLEASE [...]

I received a digital ARC copy of this book from author Ella Martin (who is totally sweetheart, by the way) in exchange for an honest review. I hadn't read the first book in the Westgate Prep series, Will The Real Prince Charming Please Stand Up?, so I was a bit weary and unsure of what to expect. Since I hadn't read the first book, I wasn't sure if there would be any important plot clues that I hadn't known about. But with this book, that isn't the case! This book is entirely easy to understand [...]

REVIEW IS UP! Check out at bookplusheart.weebly/conteIf you were a big fan of Will the Real Prince Charming Please Stand Up, then you are going to truly enjoy Ella Martin’s new book. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like this one as much because I totally fell in love with Bianca! I honestly thought Talia was crazy. There were things Talia did that I thought were childish or rubbed me the wrong way. I mean she stopped speaking to one of her best friends because of a boy. I had to remem [...]

2.5/5I was send an uncorrected copy to read and give a honest opinion. I gave a 2.5 out of 5 because the writing style is good and it hooks you, but maybe it wasn't entirely for me. I think that if I's read this book when I was younger maybe I'd have enjoyed a lot more. I think that I got up to a 20% into the story and then my head decided that I needed to read anything else that wasn't so high school.I feel bad for giving this mark for the author because she's an amazing person and was very kin [...]

Talia Nicoletti's life is changing: her mother returned home from a conference married, her estranged father wants to spend time with her, and she's beginning to look at her best friend Jake in a new light. This book is light reading, extremely light almost weightless reading. It does tackle some important issues such as dealing with a parents divorce and domestic violence but it does so in a very light handed manner. I actually really appreciated this. It is often difficult to find YA books app [...]

I know I read book 1 but it was long enough ago that I don't remember any details. This story was nice. However, I am always concerned about YA fiction romance that is as serious as this. These kids are like sophomores or juniors--where does the relationship go from here?
