Definitely a little girl book My son had NO interest whatsoever It s funny, because it s trying to teach a lesson about a little duck who gets a boa from her Aunt and she wants to wear it everywhere, but it ends up causing problems it s so long it gets caught on things and tangled I m not sure if this is meant to be applicable, and if so, I m not sure how Maybe if my son wants to wear a cape everywhere Frankly, I would find that adorable.
Katy Duck gets a beautiful boa She decides she wants to wear it for the day Her Mother suggests she leave it at home She wears it anyway The story shows how her boa bothers other people She finally realizes it in her dance class and apologizes for ruining everyone else s dancing I enjoyed the story and pictures I liked that the duck learned a lesson about listening to her Mother I also liked that the duck apologized to her friends.
I loved the cute and colorful illustrations, and I liked the story ok.
Cute children s bookI had to do 10 book critques for school and this was one of them.
Katy Duck is a new favorite at our house She s cute The reading is fun and makes a great read aloud.
