      Parable Treasury by Liz Curtis Higgs is all four parable stories in one book. First off, I loved how sturdy the book is and how vibrant the illustrations are. My son really enjoyed the Easter and Christmas stories. I did, too! But on another note, I didn't read the Bible verses with the story since many of the verses didn't really apply. I think we ruin things by trying too hard to put Bible verses to everything little thing because then we run the risk of using verses out of context which did h [...]

      What a wonderful book! I love the illustrations and while being simple parables for kids to understand, they have a great lesson! There is a story for each season and a farmer is included in each story. Something I noticed is how Liz Curtis Higgs explains her fall story and how it's not about Halloween or creepy things.
