What a terrible book I can t believe I got sucked into another of her book but I thought hey I give her one try Never again I m not even sure I can finish this one It is exactly like the one I read before The same writing, same scenes even the characters read the same At one point I couldn t tell the difference between Kit and Damian, I really thought Damian was pretending to be Kit but turns out it was it.

I feel like Cheryl Holt writes like she s writing to a 5th Grade audience She spells things out in really pointed ways leaving little to the imagination The villain is ridiculously bumbling and cliche and in the end, pregnancy apparently solves everything I m rather tired of that particular device.

Took me forever to read and had to skip around to the end It seems like the storylines are bring regurgitated from book to book and the heroes are interchangeable from book to book I love Cheryl Holt but she needs to put this storyline to bed I mean dear god Kit s siblings are missing after their father died and mother was thrown out Wasn t this the Blair story And does this now mean her next books will be about them Ugh

Like all the other books in this series, it s not at all true to the time period in either behaviors, actions, or dialog, but it was still a fun book to read.
