      A story of resistance, and melancholy, and being trapped, about making art and love and the intermingling of the personal and the political. Beautiful language, as ever from Mr. Cruz.

The older sister, Maria Celia, was sentenced for writing a letter of protest, and her younger sister, Sofia, was sent to jail with her. Recently they were released.The place of politics in the play is interesting: there aren't political debates--it's more about oppressive regimes, and the price of stifling a revolution, than it is about any part [...]
