So I read volume two and it was awesome! Yeah, I have no idea what else to say! This review is going to be me basically gushing over how awesome this manga series is so you've been warned. XPI was excited to get my hands on the next volume of Cowboy Bebop since I loved the first volume so much. It did NOT disappoint. Reading the chapters of this manga is like watching the individual episodes of the anime. It was great. It was fun, exciting, engaging, amazing! I loved how each chapter played out [...]

For what it's worth, Cowboy Bebop, Vol. 2 fares slightly better than the previous volume in translating the hit anime into manga form. The art style is still a little off around the eyes. "Freeze-frame" vignettes are a recurring solution to action and movement. We see no more chibi-versions of the characters, though the art remains lazy enough that sometimes their faces are left blank. The translation doesn't feel like a bad dub anymore, but what about the stories themselves? This time we only ge [...]

"She's a Rainbow" História, simples, previsível e muito divertida. Pouco interesse e demasiado infantil. 2,7 Estrelas."Like a Rolling Stone" um conto light. Mais uma história de Spike and his girls. 4 Es [...]

The book is still a collection of one shot stories that have nothing in common except their characters. However, these stories expand upon the characters, revealing the hidden facets of these 'heartless' bounty hunters. The series doesn't leave you begging for more but it's still endearing.Note: See Cowboy Bebop: Shooting Star (2 volumes) or the Cowboy Bebop anime for more. This series has 3 volumes.

I'm slightly underwhelmed. I'll refrain from saying more because I'm afraid I might get hit with a fanboy rock shower, but I half-expected this to be cooler. EDIT: Okay, now that I took some time to read a couple of reviews I realize this sitcom-y, plotless format is intentional, since it's not an actual adaptation of the anime. That being the case, fuck this. Anime it is.

Favourite Character: EdFaye: "What's with this? Isn't this extravagant?"Ed: "Ed chased after the food yelling, 'Wait! Wait! Wait!' And then 'Bang! Bang! Bang' Bangerdy bang! And then 'Ziiing!' and the old man gave Ed a gift!Faye: "I'm glad I asked."(Laugh)I missed this anime, it was so funny!

Reads like some extra episodes to the anime somewhere in the middle, not a continuation. Doesn't advance any main plot, not much in the way of digging deeper into the characters though it does elaborate on them a bit. Definitely a fun read in conjunction with seeing the anime, but not sure if it stands up by itself.

This was an excellent follow-up to the first book in the series, but not nearly as good. There were a few poignant moments, especially in the stories with Linda and Allison, but, each one finished too quickly for me to get really emotionally attached. The story featuring Ed and "The Killer" was quite amusing, though. If you're a fan of Ed, then you'll love this one :)

This was an absolutely amazing series!!! It had everything in it, romance, mystery, and action. I loved all of the characters and the different personalities that had to clash in one location. It was a survival of all of them relying on each other and being able to get through any situation.

    10. Anna

Not a spectacular set of stories, even the first time I read it in high school. Confusing, choppy, and I didn't really care about anybody.

    11. Tiffany Lynn Kramer

This volume is fun and fast paced like the first but I didn't enjoy it as much. I still plan on continuing with the series to see where things go.

    12. Mary

I loved this second volume of the cowboy bebop series. It's still funny and witty with amazing action and amazing, strange characters.
