"Regina in the Sun" is the opening book of another very interesting erotic paranormal series by R.G. Alexander. With all the werewolves, vampires, demons, etc flooding the shelves today, I was pleased that Alexander's brand of paranormal critters had enough differences to make them stand out from the rest. I've already ordered book two and will be curious to see where the plot goes.Regina is an Unborn vampire, the offspring of a natural vampire and a human, which makes her the lowest caste of va [...]

OkayI am bummed. I really wanted to like this book. Vampires, Blood-Mates, a super special chick saving the world. Sounded great. Until I started reading. The author had to tell multiple seemingly endless tales to explain the world that her books took place in. Let me tell you kills a good sex scene buzz than a long tale about the creation of the species. The sex scenes (the few their were), were HOT. Because Reggie our heroine was a Reader she could hear and feel the emotions of others as they h [...]

Pretty good pnr/erotica- it's explicit so if you like paranormal romance (weres, witches, shifters and vamps galore) mixed with erotica you can't go wrong here. It's not very long so it misses being a good read right off the bat. It also didn't have anything new going for it plotwise, with a big bad out destroy the peace between supernatural creatures, whilst snagging the heroine for himself. But then, you kind of expect that with these kinds of reads. Still, the hero and heroine are good togeth [...]

Okay so may be I'm easy but damn this was a great read. I like stories that move at a fast pace, where the characters recognize their destinies and don't fight them and that's what I got here. I loved all the characters: Zander, Regina, Lux, the whole damn lot. I'm getting ready to start Lux's story and can't wait. Highly recommend this book.

4 1/2 stars. Great start to the series.“Regina in the Sun” is Book 1 of the sensual ‘Children of the Goddess’ series by R.G. Alexander and features the charismatic Mediator of the Clan Trust, Zander Sariel and his brother Lux. Regina is an Unborn, a member of the controversial Deva Clan which tends to consists of vampire females who are not pure in blood lineage but are ‘made’. Regina’s talents as a Reader make her particularly attractive to Les Loups De L’Ombre (the Shadow Wolve [...]

This book was one that I found on accident and I'm so glad that I did. This was a wonderful book that I couldn't put down. The main characters, Regina and Zander, were meant for each other. No, literally they were meant for each other. Regina shows up at a Zanders club hurt and looking for sanctuary. He takes her in and heals her with one little surprise. Even though she is not a pure vampire, but rather a made one, after the first blood exchange he knows that they are fated. Together they have [...]

Regina in the Sun is the hottest book I've read to date. Need a little help keeping warm at night? Start collecting all R.G. Alexander books nowyou'll never get cold again. Very visual and interesting story line. You can picture each character with ease and feel a connection. Especially when it comes to their most intimate thoughts and desires. You almost feel like Regina herself. The deep love connectiond I mean literal connection between the two main characters, Regina and Zander ( I love that [...]

This book sat in my Nook library forever. I think I forgot about it but I am happy that I finally ran across it again and decided to give it a chance. I really enjoyed it. The story line was great and it kept my attention from the beginning to the very end. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

What a intriging new series I have found. I found this series interesting and I think it is going ot be very enjoyable. I only have one thing that kept if from being a five star I wish the story line had been a little more detailed the beginning of Regina's life of that as a gypsy and the role of being born a reader. All in all a really good book.

R.G. Alexander was the first author that I read with explicit sex scenes, a few hundred books and authors later, she is still one of my favourites.Regina in the Sun is a pleasurable read, the plot, the character development and the intrigue is amazingly gripping and transports one easily into their world.I will be reading book 2 in this series.

Interesting read. It was a freebie from . I might see if she has other stuff. The description of how vampires and weres were created and their purpose was a very interesting idea a little different from what I've read so far. It was very erotic, but the story was good, too.

    12. Portia

This was the excellent read that I have come to expect from R.G. Alexander. The world she creates is plausible and sexy. It was my pleasure to spend time with Regina as she becomes

Children of the Goddess #1This was a very interesting beginning to what so far seems to be an entertaining series. Enjoy! The only problem I had with this book was that it wasn't long enough. When I got done I felt like there should've been so much more. I don't know how to explain it, except to say that there are times when I turned the page and actually ended up going back to make sure that I didn't skip a page. The authors writing is very entertaining and engaging. It keeps your attention and k [...]

"3.5 out of 5 stars. Like most of her books, this is another keeper. Written with the matriarchal aspects that P. C. Cast's House of Night series includes, just in this series those aspects have had their back turned on by most of the characters (except the main ones), makes it that much more intriguing."Read more of this review here: frommetoyouvideophoto/2010/04/let-it-slide-let-your-troubles-fallmlMy Throwback Thursday Book Reviews -- Secondary Book Promo for this novel: youtu/S115ANqnNIM

*blushes*Yes, I read it through. Twice. Studiously. For the good reasons and the naughty. But mostly for the good. One thing I learned is that smut turns a page rather fast. And it didn't hurt that the paranormal elements made things happen easier between characters with carnal tendencies. Also, the thing with most of these quick-fixes is that, you get to rank up on your books pretty fast, if you're as thick-skinned as some greedy achievement whores. #highFiveBitches

~* 3.5 Stars *~Regina is Unborn, a vampire made, and as such she's scorned and hated by the Trueblood. Still, she risks everything, even death from a wound inflicted by dark magic, to make it to Sanctuary and the Sariel family. The Sariels are a powerful and respected bloodline that wear the mantle of clan Mediator, a position of respect and authority. Regina has to warn the Mediator about the return of an old and feared enemy, Loups De L'Hombre, the Shadow Wolves before they can begin their car [...]

I got this book in e-book form as part of a free promotion.I didn't like it, but I didn't want to throw it across the room either, so I guess it has that going for it. First of all, I will say that although I didn't like it (and that's why I gave it 1-star), that's just my personal opinion, and the story was mostly well written in terms of style, a quick read, and I can see how it might appeal to people other than me. I'm not saying it's a universally bad story, just that it's not for me.I like [...]

I was lucky enough to grab this while the book was on offer (free for Kindle) and since I had never read any erotica before I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to get out of my comfort zone. Needless to say I was, very, pleasantly surprised!I adored the new take on vampiric lore and myth that the author came up with - I won’t go into too much detail as I don’t want to spoil it. However the twist was believable and held weight. This allowed the story to progress much further, in my [...]

This book. Where do I start with this book. It was horrible. It was awful. I almost couldn't finish, but I have finished every book I've ever started, and I refused to break that streak now. The plot is a familiar one, paranormal romance to the T, and normally I gobble that up like a fat kid at thanksgiving. Normally, I can't get enough of it. But this book just drove me to tears almost with how horrible it was. To get it out of the way, no I wasn't in any way offended by the extremely explicit [...]

Wow Was not expecting what I got from this book and that is the desire to get the next one. I wasn't going to read this but decided that I would try it anyway and boy am I glad I did. Reggie is an Unborn Vampire Which means she was turned instead of being born a vampire. She is running for her life and goes to the one place she can remember her sire saying was a safe haven were she sought sanctuary, and that was with Lux, the smokin hot brother of a sexy as sin vampire named Zander, the mediator [...]

Free on Kindle - entertaining beach readI had never heard of this author, and tried it because it was free on . (You don't need a Kindle to read it. You can download the free Kindle software if you have a PC, iPod, iPad or Blackberry.)This paranormal romance was pretty good. The way the author portrayed the pure vampires versus the unborn was original. At first, I wasn't too sure about the book because the main characters jumped into bed together so quickly. I typically like a romance that buil [...]

The mythology in this book is fresh and very, very clever. I really like the world that R.G. built and I couldn't help but read the rest of the series. As a whole, this series is freakin' awesome with some twists and turns that never even crossed my mind. Brilliant stuff! You'll see this same review for all four books, though the ratings may vary a little.

    24. Anita

For a fan of paranormal romance, this book is good enough, but I found it too formulaic to keep my attention. The story was just not interesting enough. There was too much melodrama, too many typical archetypes - it was too predictable. I gave up on page 144 with fewer than 50 pages to go. From the erotica perspective, it's mostly vanilla with a little voyeurism of M-F-M ménage. The premise is about vampire fated mates and some evil sorcerers who what to harm everyone. There's a old guard of bre [...]

For some odd reason, I have recently read 3 of Alexander's books, each of which is the start of a separate series. Yes, I smacked myself in the head after I realized what I had done. I enjoyed every story, mainly due to the author's world building skills, which are all too often lacking in most romance/erotic stories. The author's characters are strong yet also a little predictable and just shy of believable, at least in terms of what I need in order to feel totally immersed in a story. Alexande [...]

I was surprised by this book it was a free kindle and the first book about paranormal that I read that was not for teens so when the sex started in this book at first disappointed because I thought it was going to over power the story and be all about sex but was not the case in fact was surprised how good this book was. There was some taboo sex in here but the love and sex between the two main characters was incredible. It was so well written that you had no choice then to believe this intense [...]

Another free Kindle download. Also a vampire romance novel. I'm noticing a theme in what is recommending for me, as well as what I'm quite possibly tired of reading. This book was pretty graphic, much more than your average romance novel, and that's not personally my thing, but if you like your romantic interludes a little more detailed, then maybe this would be a good fit.Two vampires fall in love, there are gypsies, prophecies, old goddesses, werewolves, and politics. A decent read, and one th [...]
