      I learned a great deal about the art world in Belle Epoque Paris. It was not such a glamorous life for the talented young artists who arrived in Paris from all over the world. It was a struggle.I loved the vivid descriptions of Paris, Bruges and other places the Riveras traveled.       This is one of the best books I've ever read. I had a hard time putting it down. I will read it again after my daughter reads it. Sharon Upp is a gifted writer. I highly reccomend reading this one. I found it spellbounding.
